Default concept 46 vr wire drive?

Does any one know if I can use a futaba 401 gyro with a9253 servo for my kyosho concept 46vr ? It has a wire tail drive. Iam currently using a heli max with a remote ajustable gain. I have heard that it will bind up or break the wire in the boom. I am tired of having to fly the tail ... Thanks ..

I have that setup on my Concept 30 and have not had any problems at all. No 3D though.

I had that exact same combo in mine ... the 401 makes it better and just like you, I had a Helimax gyro before the 401.

BTW, if I had to do things again, I would have totaled my 46VR after the 3rd flight to avoid spending huge amounts of money in replacements and upgrades to make it fully 3D capable
