Im new at this. I have a old helicopter I bought from a guy it is a baron. It came with 2 sets of blades. 1 set is fiberglass and the other looks to be covered with monocote.
The caliber I got yesterday the blades are wood with a clear plastic covering. Is this the finish or does something else need to be done?

RotorHead,
No that is the covering for the blades. You should not have to do anything else to them except to balance them with some marking tape. I hope this helps enjoy.
