Default Caliber 30 Help Please!

I have a caliber 30 and was hovering and the main gear collar broke and the heli came down. The engine rpm increased and it came down. now the problem. I fixed that and was hovering again and the same thing, instant high rpm's and the heli came down. but this time the gear was not broken. All pilots around said the clutch must be slipping, Ok, I replaced the liner, got it adjusted and went back to fly. Again in hover, after about 3 or 4 minutes again instant high rpm's and the heli came down again. The only other thing I can think of is the one way bearing getting hot and slipping. The gear mesh is good, belt is tight, everything seems adjusted right. Has new fan and set screws. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

OWB would be my guess as well. Seeing as you've replaced the clutch. Better at auto's now then?

I had the same problem and my local Expert with Heli said the same thing. Seems that the stock OWB on the Cals were kinda crappy. Get the upgrade high quality one. Expensive but apparently worth it. I have got mine in BUT ITS TOO DAMN COLD here in MI to go try and fly LOL

your LHS should have it if they stock Caliber 30 parts. Otherwise try eBay.
