Caliber 30-awesome!!
JUST WANTED TO RAVE ABOUT THE CALIBER 30. THIS IS MY SECOND HELI BUT THE FIRST I PURCHASED AND SETUP ON MY
OWN WITH NO OUTSIDE HELP. NOT ONLY WAS IT INCREADIBLY
EASY( PRE MADE LINKAGES,PROGRAMMING IN THE INSTRUCTIONS
TAIL MOUNTED SERVO,ETC.) BUT WAS UNBELEIVABLY STABLE
FOR IT'S HOVER AND TRIM TODAY. DIDN'T NEED MUCH TRIM
EITHER. I SET IT UP EXACTLY AS THE INSTRUCTIONS SAID AND
LEFT IT IN STANDARD MODE(NOT TRAINING MODE). THIS IS THE
HELI I SHOULD HAVE STARTED WITH BEFORE THE RAPTOR.
BUT ANYWAYS, I JUST WANTED TO GIVE PRAISE FOR WHAT I
THINK IS A WELL DESIGNED HELI. AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMM
END IT FOR ANYONE WANTING TO TRY HELI'S. P.S. NO HEAD FLIP
EITHER AND NO WOBBLES OR VIBRATION.
HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE. I'M GOING BACK OUTSIDE FOR SOME
MORE!!!!!!!

I wasn't sure what beginner Heli to get on my Birthday. But judging from your opinions I'm sure that the Caliber 30 is the way to go! right?

I cut mine off too, just above the "guppy mouth." I also painted the windshield black. It looks lots better and everything is accessable.

I don't. I wish I did. There is a line in the canopy that follows the bottom section and the natural curvature of the canopy. Its the same as place whereWayne cut, I just continued to the front of the canopy. It actually looks cool now. Sorry about the lack of pics.

Looks great, Rick!
that's exactly what I did, and then I painted the winsheild black. Also, yesterday I ordered those new Maverikk Pro blue/silver carbon main and TR blades. Should be stylin'!

the decals are impossible! Mine looked so bad I took them of and flew for the first couple of days with a white canopy!
I used Rustoleum. Its fuel proof if you give a few days to dry. One thing I had a hard time with though was getting masking material (scotch tape) to stick to the plastic. Still, it came out way better than the decals. The blue decals are easy and look great.

Dude! That looks great! Mine was such a mess i was embarrassed to take it to the field....hence the painting. BTW, I did forward flight for the first time last night. I flew a bunch of trafic pattern circuts and made 180 degree tuns both ways. It went great! The Calli is a really nice machine

Good here!
I only hope I will learn that quick!
I am still in the hovering stage! I want to wait til I get better before I fly my caliber!
