Default Caliber30 refueling

i was just wondering if anyone had an idea on any ideas on how to refuel the caliber with the canopy on

You can cut a hole just like the one for the muffler.....So it matches....Take a look at my gallery I have a coulpe of shots of my caliber.....

Default refueling c 30

Hi bud i had the same problem ,and got round it by fitting a header tank.this ineffect moved the filler point to the rear of the heli and away from the canopy, hope this is of some help . nick

see photo of my caliber 30 with fuel cock. its very easy to reach in behind the canopy to select refuel or engine feed. have put 12 litres through with no problems and fast turnarounds with this method. local friends have the same set up, none of us have had any problems.
i can take a photo showing clearences with the unmodified canopy on if you are more interested.

more info,
you probably cant see it to well, but the fuel cock is mounted on an "L bracket"and then attached to the engine mount with 2 small 2mm screws and locknuts.
