about to get a Corona but...
Howdy,
I'm seriously considering the Corona as
my first RC heli. I am however undecided
on the radio system. I want to get a radio
that will allow me to move up to a more
sophisticated heli some day. The radio
that's included in the Corona combos
seems limited (I think).
Any recommendations for a clueless beginner?
Also, does anyone make a carbon-fiber crutch
for the Corona?
Thanks
-Adrian

Raidio
I wanted to be able to move on to the next heli with the same radio.
In my research I found that the LMH (The Corona was not out yet) Had to have micro servos like H81 or JR331. This would cost more. Unless you go with the FLEX SYSTEM by JR.
I got the XP652 with the JR 331 at $300. They now have up graded to the JR662 (More bells and whistles).
The JR 331 do not strip gears like the Hitec 81.
I killed one servo do to gyro abuse, replaced with a H81 it striped gears first good crash. Gears can be replaced for about $3 plastic or $15 metal. I just put in the metal gears last night. I WONT BE REPLACING THEM AGAIN.

Battery
Don't make the mistake I made. my battery pack was to heavy for my LMH 110 AND HAD TO GET A SMALLER ONE. (TO HEAVY).
I don't think you will need that for the Corona.
By the way MY local hobby shop let me trade in my servos I did not need for thing I did need like a deans antenna.
