I crunched my corona good, and broke the Crutch, this is the 2nd time I have done that, and had an idea... I am used to scratch building R/C AIrcraft, and so I have the tools and such to easily make new crutch peices, one problem though, I need a template of those pieces, I found one of the main keel, but the rest of the pieces (motor mount etc) I cannot find. I called LMH, and the lady who answered said she would see if they can come up with anything, I hope they do, but I am very impatient, gorgeous weather, and I wanna fly! so, if anyone has, these parts, and can make a template (just trace the parts on paper then scan it) and send to me at [email protected], or already have DONE this and can scan the templates and send them to me, I would be a most appreciative fellow LMH pilot hehehe

At the Toledo show, they stated that they were upgrading to an aluminum crutch for the Corona and they actually had one on display. It looked great! You may want to try and get them to sell you one of these before they're "officially" released.

You actually asked Litemachines for templates? and you expected to get some? They will sell you a crutch Kit. If i was Litemachines, I wouldnt give you any templates. Not trying to be mean but if I was the lady on the other end i would have said HUH!?. They have a patent on their crutch design. which means they dont want you to copy theirs.

I saw that aluminum crutch at the show to. i thought it looked good and cant wait until they start selling them!

Yea, I know, never really thought about that, and they called and said the same thing you just said patent, cant send drawings out... oh well! I can say one thing though, they bothered to return my call, which is more than MOST companies would do, LMH, im impressed by your service... I wound up basically making my own design of crutch for it, since im so damn impatient, but, at the same time have a real LMH crutch on order from my LHS, so, well see how mine does tomorrow, if it doesnt work, which it SHOULD as i have the thing built and spun up the rotors tonight, but regardless of that my machine will be back in the air soon, whether on my crutch, or the LMH crutch I ordered

Ive done my own crutch design and is still doing some tweaking on it. But Litemachines is pretty polite about their dealings with people and I do like their services. Well good luck with your design.
