plug
Yea I got a couple in my norvel plane engines they work good but the only plug that works well is the McCoy plugs AKA hanger 9, they have a very small coil hole 3mm deep compared to others 6mm deep holes, there are two on the market, one is a blind to the end of the plug type the other the plug is flush to the combustion camber

Norvel, Standard short plug adapter?!?
I just recieved this email from Norvel when i emailed them and asked if it would fit in a Vmax 7 etc.
"Dear NORVEL Customer:
Thank you for your email.
The Vmax 7 does not take the standard short plug adapter.
Please feel free to email or call me at (805) 547-8360 if I can be of further assistance.
Best Regards,
Robin Stevens"

Adapter
You can get it to fit the Vmax7. Im using Vmax6 plugs in the Vmax7. I made a washer type adapter which can be seen in this thread http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...11&forumid=192
I made the adapter from the base of a Vmax7 plug. I shaved it down to the thickness of about three copper washers. It works great for me. I dont see why using both of these together would not work..

Norvel, Standard short plug adapter?!?
I went to order one of the plug adapters and by the time the postage was all added up, It was going to be over $11.00 regular ups and then over $20.00 for 3 day residential service. Thats when I said naaaaaaaaaaaaa.... I have a bunch of spent Vmax 6 plugs laying around, I could probably make my own. Ive tried it once but It didnt work for me Mabey Ill try it again and use
the McCoy plug. If I get it to work, Ill let it be known.
