Default New LMH pilots help

Ive been reading through the board and havent found much info on getting your first LMH airborn. Aside from reading the Operators Guide is there any tips and tricks we want to share with new pilots? two that i can think off right off the bat is zip tying a ping pong ball to your tail boom .. cut in half and notch so it slips right on. and secure with a zip tie. another would be to never fly over alot of debris at hover as it will kick crap into the carb then its time to rebuid. i usually fly near my hosue and sparay down the area ill be flying over (taking off and such) with a hose to get the debris to be wet and and not dust up...these have helped me alot with new heli's as i have built (2) 116's and (2) 117's so far. Just an idea and trying to help new pilots out.

Default Good Idea

The one I learned the hard way is make sure you DONT fly in an area where you cannot get out of the Heli's way all around you, I.E flying with a wall to your back, heli comes at you and you lack a good escape route
