RE: Good TX for a corona 120
I have two Corona 120's The best part about the Corona is that It can use a basic 4 channel Radio used in airplanes which are a lot less complicated than Helicopter radios, My Corona's use an Airtronics VG 400 Radio System, the receiver it uses is as described;
It is the 92777 Z 7-Channel Micro Receiver from Airtronics. FEATURES: Narrow Band, Dual Conversion Receiver For 72 MHz Airtronics FM Radios Compatible with Z Connector Servos and RX Batteries (Hitec, JR, Airtronics Z. (Will Also Accept Futaba J if the polarity tab is removed) INCLUDES: One 7 Channel Receiver SPECS: Length: 2.24" (57mm) Width: 0.96 (24.5mm) Height: 0.85" (21.5mm) COMMENTS: Will Not Accept The Old Airtronics Connectors. The battery shares a plug with the 7th channel. To use the 7th channel requires plugging the Rx battery and the channel 7 servo into the channel 7 slot with a Y harness. This receiver will work with any of the Airtronics FM (not PCM) airplane radios, including the Vanguard, RD6000, Radient, Infinity 660, or Stylus. |

The first question is: how much do you want to spend?:eek:
All of the major manufactures make good radios. Everyone has their favorite for one reason or another. |
