multi-blade LMH head project
Hi guys,
I am about to construct a a 4-blade flybarless head for my 116, as it has oodles of power after I installed a Tamiya FS-12 motor in it which will give it plenty of torque. I have done a fair bit of research on multiblade heads and I think it can be done suprisingly easily. If successful I will make another with collective pitch...When my parts arrive I will begin and i`ll keep ppl posted on its construction. Anyone else already done this? any thoughts?[8D] |

Are you getting your stuff from Matt Schumaker at Ballistic Tech?

RE: multi-blade LMH head project
I`m actually waiting for helihobby to get the quantity of parts I need, as it will be completely made using stock LMH parts (except for the hub which will be custom machined), but everything else will be LMH to keep things simple

Maveric,
This sounds like a cool project :) , Just play it safe, the blades can cause some serious damage and in worst case injury.. //Peter |
