Losi HT Tuned Pipe Question
Approximately 3 years ago, one of the mods gave me an unofficial posting ban from the Losi forum... Hopefully that has expired by now.
Anyway, I run a Savage with a Picco 28, and after destroying my Ofna 086 pipe in a rather unpleasant sideways collision with a boulder, I'm looking for an inexpensive replacement that will offer good performance and won't cause too many tears to be shed if it ends up getting flattened. Looking around, I can get a brand new Losi HT tuned pipe from a XXL for $15, which brings me to my question: Have any of you guys ran the Losi pipe on a Picco 28? If so, how does it compare to the more well known buggy pipes such as the 053 and 086?
I realize that any observations won't be totally conclusive for my purposes due to the difference in geometry between the Savage and LST header, but I'm still interested in any opinions. There are a couple sources which state that the HT pipe is geometrically very similar to the 053 (Divergent/convergent cone angles, chamber length), but I haven't cut either one apart to examine the cross section.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

RE: Losi HT Tuned Pipe Question
I think I had the 053 awhile back (hated it)
Only thing I can say is every engine Ive gone thru Ive used the HT pipe and for me its "the" pipe I will use to any bb engine. Axial, Losi, Picco, etc. Its probably the best bang for the buck imo
