Just got muggy. My buddies have revo 3.3's. we're all looking to race and I'd like to get some upgrades. Some questions.

What RPM a-arms would fit? (I've heard lst2, I'd like to confirm it tho)
Looking to get different tires for grass/dirt parking lot (need tires / rims)
Looking to upgrade the servos in the truck (some wires are cut and just taped together, so getting a new switch and servos) what servos would be good (looking to switch to one steering servo)
Any better air filter or pipe or anything that would help out?

Anything else I could upgrade?

The RPM arms will fit.... You will need to grab an adapter kit though..... as well as upgrade the included RPM turnbuckles

What engine do you have?

The first upgrade I would do is the clutch and clutch bell bearings.... I went through hell with mine....
This is the best clutch I've ever used in any of my RC's.... You may want to confirm that it'll work with the Muggy(should) otherwise you would need one for the 8T....

Did you find a new Muggy somewhere? I had one a while ago, and really liked it as a basher..

I would do the following:

1.) single-servo carbon tray, with a Hobbico CS170 servo from Tower Hobbies(it's a rebadged Hitec 5955/7955).. A Savox 1256 would do the trick well too.
2.) new clutch. Dependeing on what engine you run. For stock or bigger, I really like the Fioroni slider. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Clutch-System Use it with a 12T CB for starters. It's expensive, but it lasts forever. Another clutch option is simply to get Dynamite Long Life clutch shoes. Lots of Muggy people used to get those.
3.) new tires. Any truggy LPR size should work.. Forget big huge monster tires. The Muggy has too much chassis flex and is geared wrong. Big tires will eat your clutch and bearings.. For tires you want light and smaller. Performance will be better too..

Those three would be the "musts" IMO.

The arms, hubs, etc..(basically, from the diffs out to the wheels) and bumpers are the same as the LST2, so RPM arms will work. They aren't really necessary IMO unless you plan to go really hard at skateparks etc.. I'd invest your money elsewhere for starters..

Since the Muggy is discontinued, if you plan on keeping it for a while, what I would do is keep an eye out for Muggy-specific spares - shock shafts, shock towers, maybe a chassis, etc.. Oh yeah, there is also a one-piece engine mount that adds some stiffness to the chassis - definitely try to find that - it's a good upgrade... I believe if you get it you need to use a starter box, but that's better anyway too. For that, you need backplate part# DYN0960 for the Mach 427. Will give you a tad more power in the engine, and in any case make starting more reliable..
