This is my favorite tire and wheel combo. The tires don't need foam inside due to the stiff side walls. The Ravon 5 spoke wheels also have the wheel back space that makes these wheels work so well.

So in the next day or so I will be installing a new Castle Creations 1/8 Mamba Monster 2 ESC to get more control while rock crawling.
I really enjoy the high speed stuff on 4s as well as 6s but the slow crawling needs better programming that the Castle offers.
This build will bring that out. It is at it's limit in weight and with the large 8.5'' tires it puts a lot of strain on the drivetrain.
The quality parts that Losi offers in the LST2 and XXL products really shows when using while bashing.

So one of the problems with the Traxxas Summit transmission is the slop that dog carrier causes. LEM makes a aluminum piece that fixes this and really makes for a serious rock crawler.
I ordered 3 of them and should have got to more for some up comming builds that are comming up. He takes a long time to make them and so I may stock up on a few more.

LEM finely has the Dog Carriers back in stock (they take out the slop in the gears). So here is the 3 I ordered. I still need to buy another because I have another customer that wants one of these builds.

The Roc Lox tires in 40 series doesn't look all that big until you put them next to the 2.2 Roc Lox that are on the Jeep.
