Hi , I was just wondering how much power the hoboa hyper .30 has and how much top end. It sure looks like a good engine and hoboa is known for quality. Plus its got this new pullstarter that apparently disingages once the engine is started

It's a $140-150 Taiwanese engine. Nothing special IMO. For $30-40 more, you can have Novarossi quality and power.

So do I. That's why I have about 55 of them. I stay away from the cheapies now though. I'm absolutely sold on Italian quality.

I have 4 truck engines in trucks currently and 5 spare truck/buggy engines. Spare truck engines are the SH .28, Mach 427, NIB Novarossi BX21 buggy engine modified by Ron Paris Racing, New Traxxas 3.3, and an ancient HPI .15FE that I just need to reassemble. The rest are airplane engines. I'm currently working on modifying an OS .25 airplane engine right now.

Attached are a few pictures of my collection and junk pile. I have 4 trucks, 5 planes, and 7 boats of which 6 are airboats. In one of the pictures is one of my prized engines - a Dubb Jett .56LX and its installed on my outrigger hydro airboat. Hoping to have that boat going 65mph or better. I have 4-strokes; .46, .60, and 1.20 cubic inch, tons of 2-strokes ranging in size from .049 up to .90. Several are new and un-run. I even converted some to diesel (model diesel fuel is a mix of kerosene, castor oil, Diethyl ether, and ignition improver). Diesels don't use glow plugs.

Yeah, I have a great big pile of junk!

The SH .28 has about 4 gallons through it; Mach 427 is 3-4 gallons, TRX 3.3 is new, Nova .21 is new, HPI .15 has one tank on it. The rear bearing exploded before the tank was done. My buddy swapped it for a Dynamite .12 in his RS4 and gave me the HPI engine (made by Toki I believe). All will run. The Mach 427 was in one of the LSTs and had been abused a bit before I bought the truck. The SH .28 was NIB and came with a pile of spare LST parts when I bought the other LST2 truck. I built the second LST2 from the spare parts and put the SH .28 on it.
