Savage Clutch Springs and Shoes
I've been reading that some people are using the savage clutch springs and shoes in their lst and have been getting excellent results. My spring broke so I'm looking for some replacement springs that will last longer then the stock ones. Which is better, the savage clutch springs and shoe' or the mugen 1.1 with the mugen black clutch shoes? I have a spare set of savage clutch shoes and springs.

2D,
I'm very curious how Werks Racing clutch works, it is a totaly different disign than what we've all seen and I honestly don't understand how it works. Please post your results as soon as you put it on.
Thanks!

If you already have the Savage set-up, then use that. I'm using the Savage set-up, and haven't had any problems.

Ok i need some help here.I upgraded my savage to steel gears.I think i overtightend the spur when i put it back together. The truck runs fine till it gets warm. Then it just sets there high rev and the clutch bell isnt moving.I bought a rebuild kit for clutch.Does this sound like clutch problem thanks.

Do the pinion gears turn freely without the spurs touching them?
If not you will need to shim the clutch some to keep the screw from touching the clutchbell. I use the Traxxas teflon shims to take care of this.
