Default Washer question

I just recieved my lst...I have taken the plate off and can see the washer! My question is , my washer is silver. The one in the picture in the other thread is copper color. Have they changed it. I can not get the washer off the shaft. Shoul d it come off easy or has the motor been chnged to tamper proof? Please advise

It doesn't matter what color it is, and yes it's a little hard to get it off the shaft.

Mine was silver also, Needle nose pliers do the trick

Yea that other photo didn't look anything like a mach 26 and that certainly is not the washer they used in it. It's actually a thin silver shim and if you ran your motor at all it will have circular wear rings in it.

If you're talking about the photo here http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/REMO...2391794/tm.htm with my grubby finger in it the lighting probably made it look that color and it most assuredly is a mach .26 engine.

Yes and it's never been run.The engine wil serve as a spare for my gasser as the chassis is undergoing an electric powered metamorphosis over the winter months
