That or the Losi plastic one @ $5 USD are almost a necessity in my mind.

I have the aluminium one which I got from the same person (kudos ace) on ebay as the plastic gear cover is roughly the same price. I recieved mine nxt day and he's gonna let me know when he gets lst arms in stock which should sell for £10 a pair.

I got one of those from from the same guy and there well worth it. His a friend of a LST owner i chat to on MSN. Your need to put a couple of shims between the cover and the chassis and then it fits perfect.

yeah there really good i also got one from the same guy....LST-UK why do you have to shim it?....will that not just push it towards the spur gear making it rub?...as i think mine fits ok but not sure [&:] lol

The main chassis plate sticks out slightly more than the side rails you screw into. It caused my cover to lean towards the second gear spur and bind very slightly. Shims just straighten up my cover. Yours might be alright...???
