Default Flooded Engine?

I've broken in my engine with about 7 tanks, but I went to go start it up on the 8th tank (or so) and could not. I took my LST to my LHS and they started it (with difficulty) saying I had flooded my engine. When I got home, I had the same difficulty starting it. When I turn it over, lots of fuel comes out the pipe (LOTS). I think my engine is drawing in fuel but it's just coming out the pipe. I tried taking the glow plug off and clearing the flood, but nothing came out. Any suggestions? It turns over well, and my glow igniter is charged; the engine just won't start. I don't want to have to go bother my LHS again. Thanks!

Check to see if your glow plug is working and you have not lost the copper washer under the glow plug

Yeah that's what I thought too, but I tried that and the element definitely lights up. Hmmm... Is there any other reason for the engine to be drawing fuel, and spitting it out the pipe?

I've found that if ANY portion of the glow plug fails to glow.....I mean right up to the spot where it's welded to the body they won't fire up a fresh engine.

I have had better luck starting my still new truck after heating the engine up alot with a hair dryer. After the LHS started your truck did you run it and see if the tune was close? My carb was wacked out when my truck was brand new, had alot of adjusting to get the start ups easier but am still on the original plug. Good luck

Yeah looks like I'll have to try a new plug. They're the same settings my LHS used. I'm just a newbie with Nitro engines, so I'm sure it's not something serious.

Maybe try chargine your glow igniter. New plug. Then take the glow plug out, flip the truck upside down turn the motor over a couple times and then put everything back in...
