High Capacity fuel tank LST installed!!
Lucky day for me i guess. Wasnt expecting this other order for a few more days. So i figured i would install it, and snap a few pics. According to Drake, this fuel tank is 220 cc.
In this pic you can see the area they used to make the higher capacity tank.
Installed you really cant tell its the high capacity.
I hope nobody complains if i run this in the main without a pit stop for fuel.

Nice, but I wonder if it will have a leaning of the engine issue like on the savage, as the lower area is quite big now, let us know how it goes.

I bought it from Horizon hobby. I believe Nitro house has them in stock too. I'll post a review after i've tested it. Hopefully i wont get any lean tank issues.

Im glad you mentioned that. Thats one of the first things i noticed. While i have yet to actually put fuel thru it, i can feel a difference in the primer. Its VERY firm now. If i had to guess, id say the o-rings are alot tighter fit. Im very excited i got this tank, and the new brakes today. Now i just need to get to the track to test it all.

I'll be complaining about the size! LOL
Yeah it's not cool to run a full 15 minutes no fuel as you will likely get that lean running near the bottom.

Horizon hobby has them, so does Nitro house. I get most of my parts from Horizon.

When did you order it??? I ordered mine in late October along with the aluminum wheels hexes and I am still waiting, from Horizon....

I ordered the tank earlier this week. Shocked it got here soo soon. ROAR limits? As far as i know, there are no established guidelines for monster trucks yet.

My LHS can kiss my ass. They want me to pit stop, they can forget it. If im racing against trucks with komodos, and a Lightning stadium pro, then im runnin my 220 tank.

my lhs has a couple in stock i was there on saturday but i decided against buying one because for now all i do is bash so i bought new shock towers now all i need is my chassis to come and my s/s screw kit then ill be good to go
