I Finally Got My Own LST LOL
Hi Guys, I know I have not been around much, but I've been real busy with lot's of other projects at Losi (don't ask I can't say sorry). I'll also soon start being able to work on the Losi site and gets some updates going.
For now I just wanted to share that I finally got my own LST. Ya I've had #000001 to play with but it was never mine to personalize. Other than the test trucks we had to wait until back orders were filled to get one. Here is my LST. I of course added a lot of our goodies and a few Dynamite parts too. No Titanium gears yet either
Unfortunately I won't have much time to answer your questions, so if you have any issues be sure to contact Team Losi for chassis questions or Horizon Hobby for radio and engine issues.
BTW I painted the body myself

That looks awesome Richard!
It's good to know you still check in here every once in a while.
So who gets to keep #000000001?............Can I buy it?

Nice Truck Richard........ Whats the difference between the polished pipe and the stock. Instead of being polished of course.

Nice truck! Really nice paint! Got a question for ya. Your red shocks reminded me of the "red" adjuster nuts that WERE listed on Horizon at one time. Has Losi canceled the plans for the gold, and red adjust nuts for the threaded bodies?

I must say.... Although i think Losi's false advertising, and poor marketing of those wheels is a crappy thing to do to people, they sure look nice! Richard, maybe you could atleast persuade Losi to remove the "beadlock" from the description on the packaging, and the Horizon site.

That’s what I'm hoping, because I want to polish my stock pipe. But when I asked this a while back I was informed that being polished wouldn’t disperse heat very well...? So was wondering if the polished pipe was thicker or something.
ORIGINAL: Jayphred
It's the same pipe as the painted. Just polished. Doesn't have all that heavy paint on it.

RE: I Finally Got My Own LST LOL
Thanks guys for the nice comments. As for a few of the questions...the bead locks wheels were supposed to have been described as "bead lock style" wheels. I'm trying to track down what happend and i'm sure there will be a running description change. As for the pipe there is no performance difference, however I have been told that the hard anodized version seems louder. I can't confirm that, just what I heard. The graphite chassis and other parts are trickling in.

I am designing some lst parts also. I have designed three proto-type aluminum roll cages and one proto-type carbon fiber roll bar. but all of them are still a little too heavy. They seem to work very well going up steep hills and flipping backwards they seem to hold up very well. The carbon roll bar will be very lite dudy around 2 oz or so.
I'm working on some good pictures for all the non-belivers out there.

Richard, please ignore Bash Master, He's a liar and a TOOL. If he has pictures of rollbars, you can rest assured that he hasn't designed or built them.
Can you do a check fo us to see where LST #8491 was shipped to? He has lied about everything he says, so most of us don't even believe he HAS an LST...
