So in the proces of modifying truck #2 I've kept a log of the weights of various pieces and their stock counterparts and thought you guys might be interested in what's been compiled so far.

mach .26 engine w/pipe,roto start back plate,motor mounts and air filter 642 grams



pair of upper a-arms plastic with hinge pins 56 grams



pair of adjustable aluminum upper a-arms with hinge pins 102 grams



wheel/tire combos:

Chrome XTM Pentos w/The Meats approx. 7 1/8" dia 4" width 506 grams
Stock wheel/tire approx. 6 3/4" dia 4" width 455 grams
pro-line 23 mm velocity wheel/40 series bowtie approx. 5 1/2" dia 3 1/2" width 245 grams
Pro-line 223 mm velocity wheel/moab 40 series tire approx. 6 3/4" dia 3 7/8" width 420 grams




stock center skid,lower 46.25 grams
Losi Hi Perf center skid,lower 52.5 grams




stock bottom end skid 31 grams
hi perf front skid 39 grams
hi perf rear skid 31 grams

Looking at your numbers I would say that the HP plates are as heavy on the bottom and lighter for the top ones. This seems good to me.

Yep.I'm sorta stuck right now assembly wise waiting for a forgotten part but the chassis feels lighter and more rigid in my hands.Now if my motor would just get here ........

Yes, that is my only battery and it is 1200mah. I am considering getting one more of them to use for the mains only.

Some more weights...


All HP chassis parts...



All Stock parts...


Here is why I had to expidite the installation of these parts...

I was making a guess, but I know it was not clear for me that I needed to order two of those and I could see that happening to someone!!
