Default Is this right?

First off......Cheers to everyone for all the great info on the LST. I just got mine fitted with aluminum diff cases. The problem ( I think) is that the drive shafts barely go into the cups that are on the tranny. They fit into the cup, but are at the very edge of it.

Am I making any sense?

Is this normal for drive shaft setup? I would have figured that the shafts (or bones, cvds, whatever) would extend farther into the drive cups.

Any input would be great!

Thanks!

Jeff

No that's the way they sit.I pondered why until I tried to remove my transmission and found that if they were any longer it would take far more disassembly to remove it. 5 gallons through mine and they show no unusual signs of wear or splitting yet

Hope this helps

Most trucks are like that so the shaft can articulate up andf down without rubbing the drive cup.
