WOW, that half the price of the truck, that’s twenty packets of plastic ones. Man; not even I drive that bad.
Even Titanium has a weakness; does anyone know what it is? If you push them two far to they bend, crack, brake or simply explode?
The would be great for you guys in the snow, plastic doesn’t like it to cold, don’t have to worry about that in the south pacific

I used to work in the Aircraft industry.... And Ti isn't the "end all" material. If it was you'd see it more widely used than it is on an aircraft.
First off, you make something so strong that it doesn't break, all you are doing is transfering the energy to somewhere else that will break.
The question becomes what do you want to replace when you have a hard impact; The hub carrier? The part of the case where the hinge pins go through?
So, you man never replace another a-arm but it doesn't mean you won't break another part of the truck......

Titanium is not perfect. I once bought a Ti set of center CVD's for my savage with a Hyper 8 port and broke the rear shaft on the 2nd tank.

It is my understanding that titanium has the strength of steel with the lightness of alum (but is more brittle than steel). Because of the strenght of these you could make them lighter than a standard alum A arm. As much as these things cost they should post some more specs on them such as weight. But they look very light. I do not see a disadvantage (other than cost) of these over an Alum. arm
If I thought I could pick up a set without my wife findin out I'd be willin to give em a try.

personaly i think these would look the business on the LST from a style point of view. but jusy could not bring myself to spend that much on them.
As for Ti I managed to break a Hardcore Racing Ti shock tower on mt RC10Gt last year so it can be done.

THis might make it worth it to me... I'll have to think about it though: " FlexTek RC warrants its products to be both a) indestructible, and b) free from defects for a period of three (3) years from original purchase date."
I've read posts from guys who have aluminum a-arms that love them, almost swear by 'em. I've never wanted them because of the extra weight. Maybe these Ti's will go on sale soon? If I decide to get them. I'll be sure to post a reveiw w/pics.

Geez, I've got to laugh. I watched that video. That sure is alot of flex.
Way back in the early days of RC cars, some Arms were durable but their problem was that they had a lot of flex. So, they made arms of stiffer and stiffer material. Now with these arms looks like its the return of the "Flexy arm". When an arm flexes like that, guess what... It changes your steering geometry, it doesn't allow your suspension to work the way it was designed. IMO, expensive "bling".
IMO, composite plastics is the way to go. Strong, light, and cheap. A well designed arm will flex just a little yet be stiff enough to not affect the handling of your truck. Go ahead someone, try them. I'll wait for RPMs, buy those and still have a ton of cash for other upgrades.....

These arms are flexible when they have to be but do not alter steering or suspension geometry

HAHA. Those look like turkey bones. Out of all of the aftermarket a-arms for the LST, those would be the best ones that I have seen, (in my opinion) -
The real questiona is why doesn't LOSI make a Graphite alternative, like the Graphite a-arms for the XXX-NT? Graphite would flex and be stronger than the stock plastic a-arm. Wouldn't they?
Plastic is the way to go!

The reason titanium isn't used more in aircraft is mostly down to cost. Its easier to shape aluminum thus keeping the manufacturing costs and overall cost down.
If it wasn't for the price these arms would be the greatest thing since the idea of making the whole truck out of the stuff!!
