RPM arms and Aluminum Diff Cases are all you need. The JR XS3 Sythesized radio that comes with the LST is a high end unit that seriously rocks!

I have both a Savage (SH 28) and the LST and I like the LST better...It is much easier to work on, much more raceable, much more tunable (suspension, transmission - comes with high/low & reverse all stock!). The LST has been as reliable a basher as my Savage with the 2 upgrades listed above.

I like the idea of the savage because A i own one. B it does not come with a radio, I have a sensor and high end airtronic servos. I could always sell the xs3...
Are the servos the lst comes with digital?

No. They are not, but there are 4 of them - 2 Z590 steering servos and 2 standard servos for throttle/brake and reverse.

I hear that you do not want to run Digital servos in the LST. Mostly because the digital stuff sucks that batteries way fast. You can still use a super high torque servo that is not digital. They are still like $100.00 usually.

To be a good basher the LST can use some stiffer shock springs and the Tini gear set would also be high on my list.

If you already have a Savage, get the LST! The 4.6 isn't any different than your current savage (Other than the engine and a few mods - which can be upgraded/added to yours anyway).

Once you get the LST, you might even wonder why you have a Savage!

That is exactly what I have been thinking after seeing a friend of mine bashing his stock .25 w/o any breaks..

Good choice on the rims and tires. Not sure about those wheel hexes though. I went with the 14mm ~

dont worry bout that if u go buy a battery pack from onlybatteypacks.com it is a high capacity pack and it will last for aout 9 hours of running.

After contact with J R Radios, they recommended the JRPSZ4800T. The T disignates"Torque". The reason for suggesting analog servo's is that they are more forgiving , as digital servo's would not be covered under warrenty if not set up properly. I think they were about $84.95 each as opposed to $114.94 ea for the Digital Z8800T servo's. DBM [8D][8D]
