RE: ENGINE .46
Don't waste your money on that motor it is just a torque monster!! It is all bottom end !! Get a Novarossi .28 or a collari .30 instead they have a better powerband. The Novarossi .28 eight port is a monster, it has low end and top end power. And if you checkout this month Xtreme RC Car mag. you will find out it is not that high of an output motor, they dyno tested the .46 it put out 1.5 hp. They also reviewed the Gen truck I think it's top speed was about 35mph not 50mph like Cen claims.

Don't waste your money on the Genesis engine. My personal favorite is the Collari .30.

RE: ENGINE .46
The novarossi 8 port bolts in with no mods? I like the sounds of the Collari .30 but would prefer not to "grind" on it to make it fit. would you say the novarossi is more or less powerful than the mach?
Also when I send in my mach for replacement, what all must I send in? Can I keep the roto start? Will it fit on either of these new engines?
What is the actual name of the novarossi 8 port? I went to the mugan site as suggested above and didn't see that name listed.
nitrohead5300, you sadi you seen this engine for $180 at mugen? I was seen prices in $300 - $600 range[X(]
Thanks

RE: ENGINE .46
If you find that 8 port novarossi for sell let me know I've looked every where. As fot the collari you should be able to gat a manifold that will fi and not have to grind a thing I wanted to be able to put a RDlogics pipe on it and the manifold for it and the mack are exact and wont clear the roro start housing so I took a little off the the flange. it mite clear a pull start I don't know

RE: ENGINE .46
sounds like you need a collari huh? i would look at that sh28 because its nice, really nice and you can get it cheap from HP. $160 I would say this 28 because its about the same as the collari and i bet its better than this novarossi 28. it has 3.5hp and I think you should take a good look at this before you make your decision. not many people know about it yet but they should...
