Throttle Linkage tweaks (pics)
Well i installed my new sportwerks carb (and i gave my lst a full breakdown clean and rebuild). And i didnt really like the way the throttle return spring was getting in the way with carb boot and i just didnt feel confident about the spring. So included are some pics of how the sppring is setup now. Its attached to the fuel tank post. The extra tnsion gives me a much better off throttle response. Before, when i let off the throttle, it seemed like it took too long to go back to idle, now when i let off the throttle, it goes back to idle instantly! I am also including m current throttle linkage pics. Tell me what ou guys think.

Looks like you have a nice racer setup there. What brake arm are you using?? I'm still using the plastic but I bet I would get a more consistent feel with the alum arm.

That is the same basic good, clean setup that most of us are already using as Jason pointed out. Why on earth doesn't the truck come with linkage like that from the factory??? It is so cheap and simple?!?!

You have the forward only setup... How do you like it? Can you get forward only, but still have the high/low?
It looks like your LSN is pretty rich. Mine is in quite a bit further. How far out/rich do you run?
Very nice setup.....
