NOOO!!! I just got my LST "1" today!! Now, I go to Team Losi's website, and low and behold, the new LST is on the front page, replacing the Mini-LST!! Agh!! Crap [:@]

Stock body looks ugly though, I like the LST "1" more.

Kinda makes me mad seeing as they said that they was nothing in the plans for another one. Has all the hop ups that we needed and spent lots of money for. I wonder as to the price and when it is available... hope that they sell the replacement parts like the hubs and carriers soon. Might as when sell my LST and get the new one. They even copied the linkage mod...On a good note, it looks more like a racer out the box except for the tires...all in all I give it a 8-9 out of 10.

LST2 - Next Generation of “Super Truckâ€

.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Team Losi’s LST “Super Truck†made a big impact on the monster truck market ultimately being recognized as the R/C Car Action “Truck of the Yearâ€. Being a racing/engineering company where development never stops, Team Losi has taken what has been learned from hundreds of hours at the track as well as a lot of input from serious bashers to development the new LST2. This new “Super Truck†is a logical evolution of the LST and features a number of new, revised, and what were previously option parts. You get all the great features and attributes of the LST like the modular multi-deck chassis, two speed auto-shift transmission, dual range Hi/Low gear box, huge oil filled monster shocks on all four corners, the most powerful engine in it’s class, all metal transmission gears, JR’s XS3 premium synthesized radio system with dual metal geared steering servos as well as these new and revised parts

• Extra Heavy-Duty Oversized CV Driveshafts and Axles
• Aluminum Front and Rear Differential Cases
• 20mm Aluminum Wheel Drive Hexes
• 420 Series Dish Wheels with Low Profile Tires
• High Capacity Fuel Tank
• Racing Type Threaded Shock Bodies
• Mach 427 Big Block 7 Port Engine
• Hi-Performance Tuned Exhaust System
• Extra Strong Front and Rear Suspension Arms
• Revised Front Spindles and Carriers
• New Rear Wheel Hub Carriers
• Oversized front and Rear Axle Bearings
• Composite Dual Disk Brakes
• Revised Chassis Side Rails
• New Inner Gear Cover
The combination of the proven LST platform and these new and revised parts make the LST2 the complete, high-performance, ready-to-run package that monster truck enthusiasts been looking for. Look for the new LST2 and all of the new parts to be in Hobby shops and at racetracks in plenty of time for Christmas.

Atleast the old LST models will sell cheaper on ebay...might as well buy a new one and convert what I want to keep from my trusty racer.

Maybe you can return it...LOL ...Buglar, that was really funny...I hate buying anything brand new if it is over 275.00 bucks so I will probably have to wait until they have been out a while before I get one brand nice.

Only thing I need are the hubs,carriers and any other drivetrain hop-ups. Traxxas sold a conversion kit to convert the .15 chassis to the 2.5 widemaxx chassis...so maybe Losi may do the same.

4.27cc = .26ci

4.60cc = .28ci

One thing that I noticed about the LST2 is the throttle servo horn and linkage. Looks like it will actually pull the throttle all the way open and apply the brakes firmer.

They say it will retail for $650. So with all of the upgrades they say the new lst has how much $$ would it cost to convert the normal LST to an LST2? Would I be better just spending the extra 50 dollars and getting the lst2. The only thing i dont like about the LST2 are the wheels but I dont think that would be a deal breaker...lol

Exactly. Just buy the original one and upgrade it, so YOU can have the choice of what kind of hop-ups YOU want on it. I dont know why they call it the "LST2", it looks like more of a special edition deal to me...
