RE: LST Wing
Have not noticed any difference in handling between a wing or the typical piece of lexan stuck up in the air off the back of the body, but the wing is great protection for the rear of the body. Every time you flip you have 13 pounds landing on the body and there is a lot of rear overhang thats tends to get ripped off.
And yes you can tell a difference in how planted the truck feels on the track compared to running nothing.
Do a search on wing, limit it to this section, and you will find a lot of good examples.

RE: LST Wing
On a 1/8 buggy, if your wing gets ripped off, say bye bye to your handling at speeds of 15mph or more. It makes a huge difference in 1/8 buggies. So it will make a difference on the LST

RE: LST Wing
Here ya go:
The biggest thing that the wing does for an MT in my opinion is that it helps flip you back onto your wheels during a crash. Strangely, it really does help a lot with this.

RE: LST Wing
Those plates are from DPP Racing. You might try to PM DevilmanAK on this board or check ebay as I know he sells some of his stuff on there. Yes, I had to drill holes in the shock tower but it's pretty easy and the tower is still plenty strong. This setup is for the mugen wing mounts and wing. Very high quality and very strong.

RE: LST Wing
No holes drilled. Made a plate similar to the dogbone looking things on Firemedics. Used an Ofna wing mount, and shortened the middle posts a wee bit to make it all line up.

Picco is doing good. Come up to Dirt Burners on Sunday and watch it (with some other pretty hot LSTs) run the MI RC Pro round 1!
