so is anyone planning on getting the aftershock?

I plan on getting it since I'm just a basher and have always wanted an LST. THe radio gear doesn't bother me that much. It seems like a great buy for only $399. Great idea on Losi's part for making an entry level LST for us that don't want the LST2 price.

You keep mentioning this truck, but it is available only in the UK and you present no ammunition as to why it is the best for the buck. Please elaborate and more people will actually listen to you.

You guys realize that your LHS purchases the LST2 for somewhere in the neighborhood of $525, right? If they're selling them shipped to your house for $550, that's really not supporting your LHS...it's putting them out of business.

I finally got a upclose look at the Aftershock today. Looks like a decent product, especially if you can nab it for 350 bux online.
I really dig the new body styling, it obviously doesn't look "pro" but it certainly is flashy and looks like a good basher body. Another thing I noticed was the body plastic seemed heavier than the stock plastic for my other losi RTR trucks, that's always a plus for durability.
I think the tires look pretty good too, looks like they are straight off the LST1 truck.
Composite shocks look good sitting in the box, but I'm not sure how the plastic threading will hold up with dirt and mud smashed into them... We'll see as a few people pick it up and start running it.
Lastly, my LHS is selling it for 409!!! That's pretty crappy in my opinion, if I was getting one.. it'd be an online deal.

I own a revo that is currently second in points. OS 18 tm engine , which to me is pretty week. Don't get me wrong it is reliable as heck, but short on snott. Anyways I am thinking of selling it so I can get an Aftershock. Do you guys think this is a good idea. I have over 600$ invested not to mention second in points. I'm about to throw my racing season away for this truck. Just want to get some other opinions. Want to at least think I'm making the right decisions.

good stuff bro, just remember if you are in a big field stay away from winding it out at WOT for long periods of time (less than a couple seconds) or the over revving will kill your engine.
