question on new lst2 engine break in
i just got my lst2.ive run about 2 tanks thru it using the heat cycle method,whats happening is when i go from 1/2 throttle to closed,the engine takes about 5 seconds to come back down to an idle.it stays up there and gradually comes down.any help would be great.... thanks..........

can you roll the truck backwards when its off? and if you do, the pinion and spur should continue to spin for a few seconds. all of that working correctly?
also check the carb and servo linkage, is it retracting as it should?

yes all the mechanicals are ok,its the engine thats taking like 5 seconds to come back down to an idle,its no mechanical as in servo/radio/linkage...........
