engine question
So i guess my question is if the stock 427 engine is so much larger, why is everyone going with a .28-.30 engine? I mean theres no replacement for dispacement right?

RE: engine question
.2599 cubic inches = 4.26 cubic centimeters. So the 427 is .2605. And the best replacement for displacement is quality. Personally, I ran the stock Mach .26 all of last year, and it did just fine. There was more than enough power for me. Now that I am more experienced with the truck, I find I need a bit more power to be able to get into trouble (I was pushing the truck more than it was pushing me) so I upgraded. Actually, my family got me a modded Novarossi as a Bday gift, and I had it modded. Turned out to be too much of a difference in power so I chose something in between - the LRP .28 spec 2. Its a great engine.
