They are two totally different animals. LST2 is a true monster truck, and will be raced in that class. The Jammin is an arena truck, and will be raced in arena class. If you have any intentions on bashing, i'd skip the Jammin all together. Decide which class you want to race in, then choose. Personally, i favor the true MT class, and the LST2. If you get the Jammin, choose the engine depending on the size of the track. If you run a short track, then a high power motor will only hurt you.

Short track, i'd use any of the budget .28's. LRP, Picco, XTM, Axial, etc.

Monster size track, Novarossi .28 8 port, or any of the high end .28's

Get the Losi, it is much more fun away from the track than a truggy. Plus it will be cheaper

I own them both and I favor my LST2 more. Driving a truggy is totally different than the MT!

On the racetrack the LST2 is going to give you the best bang for your buck compared to the 4.6 SS, but you'll be able to have more fun off the track with the Savage.
