Tuning tips, glow plugs and break-in on the LRP spec 3
Anybody have any heads up on what to look out for in tuning and break in on the LRP Z.28R spec 3?
Also anybody know what glow plugs this engine seems to like?
Mine is in the mail and i just want to know what i am up against before it gets here. I plan on sealing the whole engine and carb once i get it, but other than that if anyone has some setup tips and stuff that might pop up that i might not expect that would be great! Thanks for looking out guys!

For 20% fuel, use a medium plug. For 25 or 30% use a cold plug. I've been using OS plugs, they seem to last longer than other plugs I've used. Break in should be like any other big block - once you have the needles set so its very rich but will still run: easy. At least compared to small blocks. Not that I have the spec 3, but I am sure its not much different than the 2.
