I have had my Aftershock for about a month now,after i broke in the motor it ran great and would not stop wheelieing now its a turd out of the whole,I heard the tune pipes on those trucks suck,so i am going to try the one of my LST2 tomorrow.And i tore off the clutch bell because i had alot of clutch dust on the trucks chassis,i think i should go with a good set of aluminum shoes with some stiffer springs!What do you guys think?And one more question why are those damn tires so heavy?I through a set of old tires off of my LST and they were dished-with pro-line bow ties,and i noticed a night and day difference!!BOY I CANT WAIT TILL THE MUGGY COMES,I should of waited and got one of those instead of the Aftershock,Thats truck looks awesome,its gonna rip,can you imagine an LST2 with a diff and lighter weight WOW!!!!Look out Inferno st-r,crt, and whatever truggies r out there!LOL I wonder if the Muggy will run in the same class as them in the big boy races?Thanks for all the input guys!

IMO the new muggy isnt in the same class as the ST-r or X-1

You need to have first hand experience with a raced out LST, and a top shelf truggy to get a feel for why guys like myself are doubting this "Muggy"..

I doubt a $550 RTR truggy can hang with $1500 Truggies.

my aftershock wouldnt wheelie until i put alum shoes with 1.1 springs on it. now i cant keep the front end on the ground. i almost swapped the pipe. the aftershock was such a turd but now after the shoes and a slipper readjustment its a rocket. i wouldnt think shoes would make that much of a difference.

I didn't exactly mean the rtr. I mean, we all know that there is going to be a kit version.

Did I ever mention that I meant a stock muggy or not? No.

No, we dont. The majority of us actaully flat out doubt it. (Good try, A+ for effort on attempting to save yourself there.). And as for you meaning not a stock muggy, well, you should have clarified that better now shouldnt you of?

You also have to remember that other pros with even better trucks are against him, and can um.. well, they WOULD technically have the better car, and being just as good as him, if not better, they'd pwn him.

See, you are mostly right with that statement... but you need to take it to the next step. The fast guy at club (insert name here) could win with it just as handily regardless of whether its a Jammin, or Mugen or Losi, or whatever. The truck is proven in the big races, so in the right hands it will probably do just fine. I say probably because what you buy is NOT what Adam or Peanut was driving. Close, but not quite. This is the only reason I am not going say it WILL be as good in the right hands.

From now on I will always look back to the Duratrax Warhead for any new release. Before it came out, a couple of Factory Drivers did well in the MT class with them. I was really looking forward to more competition in the MT class, but we all know the final product was less than stellar. Still, few releases will have that many bugs to work out.

And as Griptape points out, I dare you to go up to Chad Bradley and tell him he might as well not even race, since he has to run agains Adam Drake. Make sure to keep your hands UP when you say it!
