lrp spec 3 ?
I have a lrp spec 3 on the way. I understand that the lst2 rotostart will fit (with minor modifications) on the spec 3. Will the flywheel/clutchbell assembly fit directly on ? extra shimming needed?
-Is there any other ¨rotostart¨ type starting devices available?
-What else do I need to install this engine into the lst2.
I just want to make sure I have everything when the engine arrive
thanks

RE: lrp spec 3 ?
Yes the rotostart fits, you just have to elongate the hole on the rotostarter plastic fascia.
Its always a good idea to have some extra shims lying around to shim the clutch bell just right.
It will bolt right up with no problems, no extras needed, but like i said always have some extra shims, cuz you might need em.

prepare to be blown away by that motor, are you going to heat cycle it for the break in? I did a total of 25 heat cycles slowly working my way up to 230 degrees, it takes a while, but it is very very worth it.

I never did the heat cycle method but I heard good things about it, I'll have to find all the info on it and will probably go that way.
