Default Where can I get a Fioroni sliding clutch for my Muggy?

I hate the way my clutch keeps exploding and I'm tired of fixing it. I want an entirely new clutch that will work with the Muggy. I thought the Fioroni sliding clutch looked like what people were buying. I just want this problem to STAY FIXED!!!

Just tell me where I can get a new clutch that will work.

Thanks.

Does the Fioroni setup work better than the Werks clutch?? Do you use the 12t clutch bell with it or can the stock bell be used as well?

Get the hpi purple shoes that are weighted, and a vented cb. Its cheaper and works well. I used a hpi flywheel. I also got a ofna shim kit. I put 2 of the small shims on each post before installing the shoes. I then used the hpi purple shoes with the little screws that weight them and the gold springs in the kit. I put 1 shim on top of the retention nut before installing the first bearing and CB. I then used a hpi 13 tooth vented cb with another shim on top. Then I used the little black thin in the kit the screw goes in.

I think the trick is getting as much air flow in the clutch to keep the heat down. I have run a 15 tooth vented hpi cb with good results also on this setup though i did loose a tad off the line, the mid and high end was very nice.

Cool, thanks. I think I'll try the HPI shoes and venteb bell before I step up to the Fioroni stuff. Which HPI flywheel did you use? Is it necessary to make those shoes work or did you just go to it for the heck of it??

It pushed the Clutchbell a little farther forward wich i needed with my axial motor for a better mesh. Any CB should work, I wanted to use a vented flywheel, but it wouldn't work with my setup. Make sure you use the shims.

Using the Savage bell and clutch actually sounds like a nice setup, especially for the guys who use their Muggies on pavement a lot. It would allow them to experiment with a broad range of gearing, as those bells are available from HPI in 13T all the way up to 20T.

15 highest it will go, 16 fits on, but the motor wont move over far enouph for a good mesh. I learned this the hard way. Lol

I'm using a 12 tooth vented bell with 5x8x4 bearings. I've been using the same stock shoes since day 1 and they're mutilated, I badly need new ones, I think I'll buy some tough 7075 aluminums ones.

I really want to be able to flip the Muggy on it's lid. Seriously. It doesn't have enough low end grunt for me.
