Well the mach engines are extremely easy to tune. So any of them would be fine.

LST was my first Monster Truck and I think it's awsome!! I have had some help here and at the track. Very easy to work on compared to some others...

The Mach engines are very easy to tune. You just have to remember to make small adjustments and wait a couple minutes to see the results before changing again.

It's not bad for begginers but it is a lot more complex than an electric RC and a 4x4 nitro MT is as complicated as a nitro can be, I might consider a nitro 4x2 like a rustler so you get the hang of a nitro motor without all the other complications of a 4x4.

I'm just saying this because I have a friend I talked into getting a 1/8 scale mt and he was overwelmed with the maintanence and just gave up on the hobby.[&o]

oftentimes, a nitro 4X2 is way overpowered, and un-controllable. 4X4 doesnt require that much more maintenance, as there really is just 1 extra diff. and being 4X4 steering (both on and off power) is much better and more predictable.
