RE: undecided
let me Guss? you want an unbiased opinion right? That's why you posted here in the losi category?
For the price its one tough truck, much better than traxxas, with its big block engine and its huge tires, its one of the top Mt's out on the market. I have yet to own one myself, but i have worked on them and driven them, that are tough.
But if you looking for a good cheap mt, i would look at the mgt and the aftershock.
it all depends on your budget.

The MGT is a good all around truck. Its a great basher and a capable racer with some minor upgrades.

The mgt is a nice choice, can Handel just as much abuse the savage can.

Seeing that you have never owned one, you can't really make that statement. As I have owned both a Revo and Savage, I can say that my Revo was almost as tough as my savage. But, most people on this forum will say the Revo breaks so easy because they "hear" it does. Buy the actual truck and then chime in. I am looking into a aftershock, looks like one awesome truck.

I need to get 2 of my friends that have Revos that have broken repeatedly again and again, and are so sick of the breakage they are switching to LST2s!!!
I HAVE personal experience watching them break stuff that really should have not broken at all.
Personally I would not have a Tmaxx or Revo if someone gave me one. I would immediately E-bay them. Before they broke.

RE: undecided
man this is old. i got a savage now. and i got my best friend a revo cause he wanted to prove me wrong that the revo was better, lasted the entire brake in after that, arms gears motor all went, now he has all rpm, and a nice axial in her and she purrs like a kitten. the mgt i have raced against had the the option to get one, but i wanted a savage more, and I'm happy with it, so far the muggy and savage have been the best rc's i have had.
