mach 427 from a mach 26
hi
just wondering if i was to buy a mach 427 block / piston & liner / crank and the head button i should be able to use the rest of the bits from my mach 26 ie carb / backplate / one way bearing etc YES OR NO i hope it will work because you can get the parts from a mach 427 very very cheap from jenny's rc on ebay what do you think guy's will it work

I believe that they are basically the same motor...i know that the 427 is a .26...and the Mach 26 is a .26....so they should be interchangable....check with Losi first...or Dynamite, because the 427 is a Dynamite engine.

is it worth converting ( if it can be done ) a mach 26 to a mach 427 or should i just stick to the mach 26 WHAT ARE THERE BENEFITS TO HAVING A MACH 427 OVER A MACH 26

Most of the parts will work, But the Carb retainer Bolt Hole on the 427 Block is bigger and Won't hold the Carb tight....Unless you have the retainer Bolt for the 427........
