What did you use to cut the holes in that body? Christ.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't his doing... That LST2 definitely has been run... [X(]

I didn't cut the wholes but the truck is pretty dirty, bougt it off a local guy so I knew he took care of it. I think I am going to ask for a new body because the one he gave me is beat up and smells. I will be getting my 2nd LST on Friday, it is in a much better shape than this one. It also has a FOC, new body, wing kit, springs, and a failsafe.

Well, he paid considerably less. I am trading my revo for another nicer LST....but my Revo has $600 into upgrades .

I suggest you buy a better air filter. A savage 2 stage will let it flow nicely.

Already got a OFNA 1/8 filter on there. IT was 8 bucks and included some oil as well...cant beat that price. I looked at MS filter's....20 bucks. And with the MS design, you could have the lid easily pop open and dirt sucked into your engine.

The savage filters are much bigger than the ofna filters and let in much more air for better performance and yet keeps the dirt out. those lids have not fallen out on me and I have had some nasty crashes. There is cut outs in the air filter so a zip-tie can be used. I have to put in some effort to take off the air filter on my savy. You could still buy one for your truck. It will give you an edge in a race. Heres a link:

Never said it was a savage 4.6. one. just said savage.

So LSTVega, since you drove your bro's truck, do you think the trade was worth it?

Ummm....I think so. I was craving for something new. I also want to be differnt, not the usual revo owner.. My LST has a few hop-ups so it should be a little better. I had a blast tday though.

LOL... sorry... that made me laugh... you want to be different... so you buy the truck that many other people have...with many of the same mods... just makes me laugh... makes me think about all the car enthusiasts that want to be "different" by doing the same mods as everyone else...

I get what you're saying... and I'm in no way trying to be offensive... I just thought it was funny... now... different would be... Nylint (Walmart Special) or NewBright H2 with a Picco .26... and a 2 speed tranny... now, THAT would be different. [X(] A Tyco with a brushless and lipo... THAT would be different. An LST2 with some "basher mods" ... not so "different" ... but we've had conversations that help me understand what you mean...
