Default Touchy brakes on Aftershock

Is this a common problem?
The brakes on this thing are like an ON-OFF switch![:@]
I have adjusted them so that they are just barely applying, and when they are applied at low speed, all 4 wheels lock virtually instantly.
At high speed, they slow the truck down, but I have to let off just before it stops, or it comes to a chattering (almost gear crunching ) halt.

Before I adjusted them, on the first drive, the truck almost did a foreward flip!

Is it just something with this truck, or have any of you experienced it too?

It's the Metal Pads on Metal Rotors, the HP Pads are a Good Cheap Up-grade, http://www.killerhobbies.com/items/l...606-detail.htm

or you can get the Disk from the 8T and go Single disk..........

The Eight disc is a nice upgrade, it actually takes stopping power away, but makes it soo much easier to modulate them.

Why change it to the 8ight's system when all he hasta do is pull one of the two disks out and one of the three pads??

Then use 2 pieces of gas line 1/8th inch long to take up the gap? Thats what makes the biggest difference in brake power/feel.

Thats all I did... Its much better cuz then u got spare parts! And the braking is much more controlable yet I can still locke'm up if needed.

I don't know if the Aftershock radio supports EPA, but I just adjusted the EPA on my LST2... and it lightened the braking up a little... the Revo has a thumb screw... unfortunately, I don't know much about the Aftershock... LOL
