Size of LST2 and Aftershock Wheel Hex Things
So I just bought a set of four brand new Lst2 tires and rims for 25 bux shipped on ebay. I only got them because that seemed like a really good deal. My question is are the wheel hex things the same on both cars or are they different. If not then is [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220162859118&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012]this[/link] what I need for them to fit?

The LST2's are bigger then the aftershock. thats why the LST2 has a different rim/hex then the aftershock. But i cant remember if the LST2 was 17mm or 20 mm[:-]
Nevermind the lst 2 wheels ARE 20mm

20mm adapter.
Edit: the aftershock and the Lst2 have different arms/c-hubs. It has a stronger design then the shock and bigger c-hubs. 2D knows alot more on why they wont fit eachother but i do know there is a aftershock to Lst2 wheel adapter somewhere, im just trying to find it

The LST2 uses the 20mm...but the other problem is the LST2 has larger axles then the Aftershock so the LST2 hexs you linked to will not fit the Aftershock.

So I cant use those rims. There isn't any kind of adapter. P.S. Anyone else notice the RCU site loading really slow?

iexion you were right, but you couldn't have been looking to hard for them. I searched "aftershock to Lst2 wheel adapter" and found them. Oop thats 20mm to 14. Ignore my blank post idk what happened there.

LOSB3510 * (2) is what you need, these allow you to mount 20mm hex wheels on Aftershock 6mm axles. Note that the wheel nuts are 17mm.

well you could get the lst2 upgrade and then they would fit and your truck would be a lot stronger as a whole but i think its like 130.00 and that is a lot for 25 dollar wheels

The Aft/Ram/MGB/LST use 14mm plastic hubs, the LST2/MUG use better 20mm aluminum hubs, but sadly Losi is the only one that makes 20mm wheels. If you have the LST2 axles (8mm) then any buggy wheel adapters will fit. You can also get 23mm adapters from either ProLine, Integy, or Dynamite, which hold up really well.

There's nothing wrong with 14mm hexes. They may not be "race spec" but for a basher, they are fine, and the wheel choices are just about endless. FWIW, I run 14mm hexes on my Savage and have yet to ever strip one. The key is to keep the wheel nuts tight.
