LRP Spec 3 Same as Losi 8ight motor
Okay so isn't the spec 3 the same as the lost 8ight t motor. The casting, crank... Everything is identical to the naked eye. Has anyone ran both motors (2dmaxlst)? I know everyone swears by the lrp spec 3 but has anyone done a comparison. I bought an 8ight t motor on ebay because my stock lst 2 motor is getting woked on by losi and I really did not want to wait. anyways input is great. Are the two motors vastly different (lrp and 8ight motor) in performance or does one just have a slight advantage. I was going to opt for an LRP but the cost of the 8ight motor which already has the backing plate was like $60 cheaper. Do you See a performance difference?,

they are not the same engine, the only thing those two engine have the same are, they are both made by SH, the 427 is a 26 and the LRP is a 28.

There are lot's of differences...
You can see the cut on one of the ports here...(LRP)
The rod and bushings are different on the LRP, etc...
There is nothing wrong with the Teal headed Mach427, especially if you can get it for less than $150...
