So I bought an LRP Z.28 Spec3 for my LST2 !
As the title says , I just bought the last LRP Z.28 Spec 3 from Ultimatehobbies.com and am now playing the waiting game .
Is there anything I need too buy too make it fit into the LST2 ? I have a TT.28 Pro I was going to install but it looks to be too much of a PITA so I got the LRP for it instead .
I will need too use the stock flywheel and collet right ? How about the carb , does the linkage hook right up ?
Thanks .....

Yep it'll drop right in......Use stock Flywheel and Collet & you'll have to turn the Carb & Cooling Head to go in the LST......

The dual exhaust rear mount makes even more noise and less power than the twin stinger that Sugar mentioned.

I thought that RD Logics pipe was supposed to be great.. Maybe just with the Mach?? I've read lots of positive posts about it for the LST2.. (I mean the normal dual stinger one, not the rear one..) [sm=confused.gif]

I have one in mine as well and like it a lot. At first I thought everyone must be nuts because after 8-10 tanks it still didn't have power of stock mach 427. I was like, these guys must not be used to strong engines. I left it in and kept running it, then one day, at about 3/4 gallon mark, it started acting up and the tune went pig rich on me and temps dropped big time. I was like wth? Slowly started leaning it, and after another tank, this thing woke up instantly! Went from about stock power to what everyone said it was supposed to be. I have close to 6 gallons on it now, and it is still very strong. Like everyone who has one, I bet you will really like it once fully broke in. Of course, I'm always looking for more power...so a modded picco or something is next in it. It really burns my bum that the guys who make great engines (os .28, grp tuned .28...) never make one for the guys who need all the extra power more. Yep, talking about us monster guys who need a strong PULLSTART capable engine! But for now the lrp is pretty dang ok for me, but always looking...!

I have gotten 7 tanks through it now and its starting too wake up , it seems too wind up too a higher RPM than the stocker did , power seems too be as good if not a little better than the stocker , it idles really solid and will run for a good minute before it starts too load up . The Losi spin start also went on with very little trouble and works great (just like the Mach)
Temps are in the 220-230 range , very smooth powerband with this motor but the revs still build quickly , I have an Ofna 086 pipe I might try too see if I get any more out of it .

So , after 2 more tanks I decided too rebuild my clutch and put in a new 2 speed OWB ...... WOW ! Now I see what you guys are saying about this motor ! [X(]
The clutch shoes I had on their before were pretty worn so I figured I would replace them after I broke in the motor , boy what a difference ! It hits alot harder outta the hole now and has no problem pulling a wheelie if there is enough traction [>:].
I also had a problem with it slipping out of gear (or so I thought) but I read on another forum where someone was having the same problem and it was his OWB slipping , changed mine and it hasnt done it since

If your getting the Spec 3 & the HT Pipe for your Aftershock....Then Next thing on my List would be....
The LST2 Throttle Linkage set up (the Aftershock's has a Saver Spring on it and sometimes causes it not to Open the Carb to Full Throttle)
& The LST2 2 Speed.....
