aftershock transmission
hi i have a little question ..
im playing with my aftershock and everything is ok
i stop to refuel it and i notice when i push it forward(with the engine shutoff) it roll ok but if i push it backward there is some resistance, like if the clutch was engaging or the slipper stuck
any idea what my problem is before i remove the clutch cover?
edit : ok i just removed the cover and if i turn the bigger gear clockwise the truck move forward, if i turn it counterclockwise it cranks the engine
do you think my clutch is messed ?
i dont really want to remove everything just to see if its the clutch
thanks

RE: aftershock transmission
ok i found the problem ... if other people have the same problem it may help them
i removed everything and it was the clutchbell stuck, because one of the two bearing was seized

RE: aftershock transmission
I think aftershock comes with plastic shoes and the lst2 comes with alum. shoes. If I'm wrong and the aft. comes with alum. shoes, you can de-bur them for max performance.
Follow this video (only if they're aluminum shoes): http://lstforums.com/video/De-buring-Clutch-Shoes.wmv
If they're plastic wipe, the shoes and inside of the cb with denatured alcohol or brake cleaner to remove any trace of oil/grease which can make ure clutch slip and drastically cut down on its life.
