Can someone recomend shock oil weight.
I think a few of my shocks are leaking on my aftershock. Theres some oil on the tubes, is that normal? Im wondering what the stock oil weight might be. Id like to use a thicker oil for bashing. Recommend a weight? Thanks

If you continued to see oil on the tubes, then the shocks are definitely leaking and need to be tightened or an o-ring needs to be replaced. For good shocks for bashing, you'll need good springs and oil. Get some 40wt or 45wt oil and install some rcraven dual rate springs. The dual rate springs can be found here:

Regardless of colour, these dual rate springs are all the same.
Ti-Ni shock shafts are also worth it if you got some extra cash. I've never broken one so far.
I bought the ones in blue.

Got the shock covers from here:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ANY-COLOR-LST-LST2-SHOCK-COVERS-SOCKS-SOX_W0QQitemZ370169069675QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_ Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item370169069675&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1215|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A13 18
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by if I had to take them off first......you can just slide the cover right on the shock then tuck the ends inside the springs at the ends.

So Im just gonna change out the oil and o rings if needed. So either 40 or 45 should be good? Im gonna use the stock blk springs. Oh how much oil do they hold, these things are huge looks like they sell em in 2 oz bottles. One for each shock?

Yup, 40 or 45wt should do fine. I always get two bottles and end up using 1.75 of it for the 4 shocks.
