Get the LRP Spec 3 Z.28r pull start. This engine is ridiculously easy to tune and holds a tune for an entire summer almost.
Its got tons of power, easily throws around my close to 14lb basher lst2 and lasts quite a few gallons if taken care of properly. Its a Taiwanese engine so the front bearing goes pretty early around the 1 or 2 gallon mark but other than that it is the best bang for the buck engine.

the listing at tower hobbys says this ingine is a Associated engine and they are the same at TT and i have tryed a tt engine in the mega baja and it dident fit the engine mounts , i do like associated engines to. anything cheaper out there tho.

Correct but they are made by Sh for Associated. Thunder tiger makes their own engines but thats not the only engines associated uses.
