i saw a video of a losi fuel tank mod where he removes the primer. i did a search and cannot find it. can someone please point me in the right direction.

Yea, if you've Pressed the Primer on the Tank....There's a 99% Chance it'll start sucking Air

It'll let air in & Lean your Engine out.......Causing Tuning Problems and Raising the Engine Temps

Not only does it cause air leaks, but the orange orings used will also start deterating after awhile. Eventually it can lead to a clogged up carb. I removed mine a few weeks ago, I will be doing it on my spare fuel tank as well.

Alright... So what kind of sealer what that stuff, and where do I find it? All I have is the copper engine sealer.

I just use some regular automotive gastket sealer(the black silicone). You could probably use the copper stuff....
