LST 2 forward only conversion kit
question on the forward kit, does it do away with the high/low gears ? im hoping it does, im also going to order one for my xxl. the rear output shaft of the trans. has a ton of play compared to the lst2 trans.

Yep it get's rid of the High/low & Reverse Gears......& you can also do the Forward Only Gear Swap for more top end......
and if output shaft has Play in it....you should Check the Bearings

thank you again sir, you seem to have all the answers to lst issues. my xxl finally is running good, but it locks up after i run it. even with the brakes totally off, it still locks. i took apart the diffs and filled them with 10k diff fluid. im about to toss this thing in the garbage.

I'm looking in to getting the FOC, but I'm still having trouble understanding the reasoning for it. What do you gain, and what do you lose?

Well if you do the Gear swap at the Same time, It'll give you More Top end (About the same as a + 2 Pinion).......But Just Removing the Extra weight and Rotating mass is worth it alone.....

wait wait wait are the xxl tranny gears taller than the foc with the flip or not ...the video I watched from horizon said the xxl is hitting close to 50 , now I have the forward only with the flip so would I be faster than an stock xxl or not ...I really don't think the foc with the flip in a 50 mph truck would make any since or am I wrong cause you know I have been before
